Approximately 1% of this great nations population actually serves in the military. Approximately 3% of this great nations population actually knows someone who serves this great nation. Let me do the math. That leaves 97% of this great nation who don't know WTF is going on with WOT except what they hear from the boob tube, their neighbor or their bartender. I can weigh in on this google "Islam is" fiasco (google "Christianity is" and thousands of stuff comes up - type in "Islam is" and the response is censored..) in the early days of Soldiers Angels when Patti was still daily blogging brandonblog.com she posted a funny cartoon of Sadaam Hussein in a pink tutu. Something to laugh about while your kid is at war. At that time we were actually paying Google to list us and our website consisted of maybe 15 total pages ( pre OIF) The next day our traffic dramatically decreased. Google had dropped us. Wouldn't even take our greenbacks for advertising! We had offended Muslims around the world and even though we were at war we had pissed off at least an estimated 48.5% of our fellow blissed out Americans. It took several months and we finally reapplied to their pay for search results before we were listed again. At that time it was the only way for us to figure out how to get donations and greatly effected our ability to raise funds. Soldiers Angels started out and continues today to be a Internet organization and probably wouldn't exist without the Internet. So google that.

Ma'am (Ms. Patton-Bader),
Please accept this letter of appreciation and heartfelt gratitude for all that the Soldiers' Angels organization does.
As a veteran of numerous combat deployments, one sometimes begins to wonder just how much the members of the military in harm's way are really thought of. When back home in the United States, the smallest words of "Thanks for your service" or a knowing nod from an older veteran can make all the difference in the world. This past holiday season here in Afghanistan was a lonely one, as all away from loved ones and family are; this time, I personally have relatively easy duty, in contrast to our troops out in the most remote locations.
It was such a pleasure to be presented with Christmas packages collected by Soldiers' Angels. I now have a travel mug from you (Soldiers' Angels), and I had just written home asking my wife to send one. Your efforts are appreciated far more than you can know or realize.
Concisely, thank you much for a job well-done; kudos for not forgetting us!
V/r,
